Jan 4 : CODP® Mangaluru, St. Sebastian Church Permannur, Catholic Sabha Permannur and Karnataka One jointly organized Ayushman Bharath Drive at St. Sebastian English medium school hall on 03.01.2021.

The inaugural ceremony was presided over by Rev. Fr Cyprian Pinto, Parish priest of Permannur Church. Rev. Fr Oswald Monteiro, Director of CODP was the Chief Guest. Other Guests of honor were Rev. Fr Santhosh D Souza, Assistant Parish Priest of Permannur Church; Mr Maurice Monteiro, Vice President of Permannur Church; Mr. Basil D Souza Counselor , Mr. Dolphy D Souza President of Chatolic Sabha, Resource person Dr. Rathnakar, DLO of Wenlock Hospital Mangaluru were present on the dais.

Mr. Dolphy welcomed the gathering.

Rev. Fr Oswald Monteiro, in his inaugural speech, informed that the reason to organize this program was to create awareness to all participants regarding Ayushman Bharath Health Scheme. He also explained about the importance of the schemes in the course of hospitalization and treatment.

Dr Rathnakar explained the significance, importance and benefits of Ayushman Bharath card and requested all gathered to enroll this card as this would help them for the medical treatment.

Rev. Fr Cyprian Pinto explained the importance of availing government health schemes. He also appreciated the organizers for organizing this Camp at Permannur by which the people would be benefited.

Mr. Arun D Souza compered the program. Ms Shilpa, Ms Cecilia Ms Pushpaveni from CODP, assisted the program and Ms Prameela D Souza proposed the Vote of Thanks.

A team of enthusiastic volunteers from St. Sebastian Church, Permannur worked hard to make the camp a success.

This program was sponsored by Permannur church and Catholic Sabha.

A total of 495 free Ayushman Cards have been distributed to the participants.
