Oct 09, 2017: ICYM Casia Unit holds three programes of 2K17: Swachh Cascia 2K17, Vanamahotsava 2K17 and Water Saving Project 2K17 on 06-Oct-2017. The programs were held in the presence of Parish Priest Rev Fr. Harold Mascarenhas, Animator Norman DSouza, Unit President Vishma DCunha and other members of ICYM Cascia Unit.
As a Swachh Bharat Abhiyan initiative Members of ICYM Cascia Unit with the theme “Swachh Cascia” has donated waste disposal bins to St Rita Church, Cascia at 5 p.m. Vanamahotsava was celebrated by planting saplings at 5:15 p.m. in the Cascia Church premises. Saplings were provided by ICYM Episcopal City Deanery. As a Water Saving Project initiative 22 Water Tap Filter Sprinkler Nozzles were installed in the premises of St Rita Church, Cascia at 5:30 p.m.
