Visit to various Small Christian Communities in groups was great help to evaluate SCCs and plan for the future.

At the end participants felt that we in Mangalore and Udupi dioceses have SCCs in our parishes but our parishes are not running in SCC way. We need make our parishes run SCC way which is a strong challenge to all of us.

In order to plan and to come out with an action plan a small committee was formed at the end of the seminar. The committee will meet again to plan and to suggest putting in action what was learnt during the seminar.

25 priests, 10 deacons, 17 religious sisters and 32 lay leaders (total 84) from Mangalore and Udupi Diocese took active part in the seminar for three days.

Msgr Denis Moras Prabhu the Vicar General and Rev Fr Victor Machado, director Pastoral Institute were present to inaugurate the Seminar.

This Seminar was organized by the Small Christian Communities Diocesan Centre.
