Mangaluru Aug 8, 2017: As planned much in advance, the 8th std. students were invited to CODP along with their parents for the process of selection for "YET Programme 2017-2018" on the 6th of August 2017. A total of 108 students from different parts of the Diocese participated in the programme. The day began at 9:00 a.m. with registration of students. The introductory session started off at 9:45 a.m. with Mr. Santosh welcoming the students and parents.

This was followed by prayer led by Mr. Cyril Vas. The Director of CODP, Rev. Fr. Oswald Monteiro gave a brief description of YET programme and motivated the students and parents towards an intense preparation to take up government jobs. He highlighted the need to inspire more and more children from our Community to study hard and prepare themselves for the various examinations which would eventually make them successful in their career.






The Director of Counselling Centre, Bajjodi, Rev. Fr. Arun Lobo from the Pastoral Centre Bajjodi conducted the aptitude test and Mr. Cyril Vas conducted the General Knowledge test for students. Both the students and parents were served tea and refreshments. They were informed that based on the performance of students a selection would be made and worthy candidates would be intimated about their performance in both the tests and subsequent selection for YET Programme 2017-2018.
