Jan 29, 2019 : The finale of the project National Symbols – Country’s Pride, activity 7, was organised by Lourdes Kindergarten Section by celebrating the national festivals of India and Australia. Respectively Republic day and Australian day. Principal Rev, Fr. Robert D’souza, Vice Principal Ma’am Belita Mascarenhas and the parents of little kindergartners witnessed the programme.

The programme began with the prayer song followed by children speaking about the importance of Republic day and Australian day. Little master Nihaan dressed as Dr. B.R. Ambedkar who formed the constitution of India was a highlight of the day. Little stars of KG 1 presented a fusion dance on India and Australia. Beautiful symbols of India, USA and Australia were depicted by the children of KG 2 which added beauty and meaning to the project. It was a visual treat to see little kindergartners performing on stage with so much enthusiasm and zeal.

Rev. Fr. Robert D’souza appreciated the efforts of little children and urged the parents to be responsible and upright citizens of India. He also stressed upon respecting the values and cultures of other nations as well.

The programme concluded with vote of thanks followed by National Anthem.
