YET programme was organized for 8th, 9th, 10th, PUC I and PUC II students on August 5, 2018. A total of 158 students participated in the training programme of which 98 were girls and 60 were boys. Various classes were held for all the five classes.

The day began with registration which was done by Mrs Linet Doris Fernandes and Mrs Tejaswini. The Director of CODP, Fr Oswald Monteiro welcomed all and led the group into prayer. The CAP-YET Coordinator, Mr Cyril Vas motivated the students to prepare themselves seriously for civil services by taking genuine interest in the YET programme with perseverance. He also gave a brief description of the day’s various activities and sessions. He told them that henceforward there would be YET programme on every first Sunday of the month for all the five classes. This useful information was to facilitate the smooth functioning of the YET Programme and to avoid ambiguity in the minds of students and parents about the regularity of the programme.

The sessions of the day were shared among ten resource persons, viz. Preparation for Civil Services by Prof. Ronald Pinto; GMAT and Maths by Ms Jonita Rasquinha, GMAT by Fr Edwin Pinto, English Communicative by Ms Pramila Monteiro, Social and Political Science by Asst Professor at SAC, Mr Alwin DSouza, Current Affairs by Professor at SAC, Mr Alwyn Dsa, Soft Skills: People Skills, Listening Skills by Ms. Stella Roche, Personality Development by Mr Manu Jacob Mathew, Group Dynamics by Mr Winston Lobo and Preparation for UPSC/KPSC: Analytical Skills & Quiz by Mr Cyril Vas. The Holy Eucharist was celebrated by Fr Oswald Monteiro.

The students appreciated the sessions and benefited from the rich resource that was presented to them. They were actively involved in the various activities.
