Mangaluru, Feb 8 : Fr Anil Kiran Fernandes from Divine Centre Mulki offered the Holy Mass on the third day of the novena in preparation for the feast of Relic St Anthony at Milagres Church on 8th of February, 2019 at 6 p.m. and preached a meaningful homily on the healings done by Jesus during His public ministry. Jesus healed people who came to Him in their sickness seeking for health. All those who came in contact with him in faith were healed. Jesus also gave power and authority to His disciples to heal people and redeem them from evil spirits. St Anthony in the thirteenth century healed many people in the name of Jesus and he continues to heal all those who seek his intercession. There are examples where ailments were not cured by modern medicine the same were cured through the powerful intercession of St Anthony, he said. At the end of the Holy he made special prayers for the sick and ailing and holy water was sprinkled on them.

Fr Francis D’Souza the administrator of the Institutes conducted the Novena. Fr Onil D’Souza thanked the Choir members from St Zuze Vas Chruch Mudipu for helping the devotees to pray well during the Holy Mass and devotion. A large number of devotees participated in the devotion.
